Alternatively, the Ritalin LA and Metadate CD capsules may be opened and the contents sprinkled onto a tablespoon of applesauce (not warm), and the mixture swallowed immediately. NOT save the mixture for later use. The capsule contents should be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed.
